Community Funding Support

In the last few years, we have supported community groups in the borough to raise over £2,000,000 in grant funding. This has included funding for sports clubs, social groups, village halls, community venues, art projects, religious groups, youth clubs and neighbourhood projects.

Top tips for finding funding

If you are looking for funding for a new or existing project or activity, have a look at our top tips for finding funding. We can support your community group with:

  • Making sure your group is funding ready
  • Creating funding plans and timelines
  • Finding funding opportunities and grants which are suitable to raise the money your community group needs
  • Supporting you through the funding process and reviewing your draft application forms.

If you are interested in researching grant funders, have a look at our page that offers support on finding funders for your community group. You can also find detailed guidance on accessing grant funding in our document ‘Tewkesbury Borough Council Funding steps leaflet‘.

Please contact our Community Funding Officers using the contact details on the right who will be happy to help.
