Tewkesbury Food and Drink Festival is set to make a welcome return this summer. Cotswolds Markets Ltd. with the cooperation of Tewkesbury Abbey and supported by Tewkesbury Borough Council will hold the event over the weekend of 24 and 25 June.
The festival is once again being held in the stunning Tewkesbury Abbey grounds and will provide a weekend of fun and action-packed foodie delights.
All the original popular highlights will be there; including a food marquee filled with over 60 stalls offering the finest of local produce and foodstuffs from local farmers, growers and producers - including choice items from award-winning cheese, wine and cider makers plus breweries and bakers.
There will be a festival garden full of delicious food to tantalise your taste buds as well as children`s entertainment and games which will leave the adults the luxury to sit and enjoy the surroundings while listening to local musicians. The event will also boast a cookery theatre with live demonstrations from local chefs and experts.
The festival will open on Saturday, 24 June from 10am until 6pm and on Sunday 25 June from 11am until 5pm.
Dave Joynes, of Cotswold Markets said “we look forward to welcoming everyone for a third year to a great family day out in this idyllic setting. Once you have been admitted to the event, re-entry is free so you can go in and out as many times as you like on that day, this means you have the chance to explore what else is on offer in this charming market town”
