A popular outdoor gym in Tewkesbury has had two cross trainers replaced due to over-use.
Tewkesbury Borough Council replaced the equipment in the Adizone area of the Vineyards after a number attempts at repairing them had failed.
Tewkesbury Borough Council’s lead member for health and wellbeing, Councillor Julie Greening, said: “The Adizone in Tewkesbury has proved very popular and the fact that the cross trainers have been over-used is a wonderful problem to have!
"We are very pleased that improving the Vineyards play area last year has led to even more people visiting the area and using the gym equipment there.
"Hopefully the new cross trainers will be more robust and will be a big help to anyone wanting to enjoy free fitness activities in the fresh air.”
The cross trainers were replaced in April 2018 and cost a total of £5,000.
