Due to the Bank Holiday, refuse and recycling collections in Tewkesbury Borough will take place a day later than usual next week.

There will be no collections on Monday 7 May, but crews will catch up throughout the week, emptying bins a day later than scheduled, from Tuesday 8 May through to Saturday 12 May.

Tewkesbury Borough Council’s lead member for clean and green environment, Councillor Jim Mason, said: “If you’re having a spring clean this Bank Holiday, don’t forget to use your blue recycling bin, household recycling centres or local charity shops to reuse or recycle items. Or, if you’re planning a BBQ or having a party, remember to make use of your food caddies to recycle any left-overs and blue bins for bottles, cans and plastic packaging.”
