Following a bid to the Government’s Housing Infrastructure Fund, Tewkesbury Borough Council has been awarded £8.1 million to help improve transport links to Tewkesbury Ashchurch Housing Zone (north of the MoD site).
A large area of public open space in Bishop’s Cleeve will be regenerated to help reconnect the community with nature, water and wildlife. The Grangefield Watercourse Restoration project will see the area enhanced with a meandering watercourse, wetland, wild meadows and walkways.
The government has approved legislation on 20 December 2017 which introduces a 20% increase for planning application fees. The fee increase will take effect on planning applications received from Wednesday, 17 January 2018.
Tewkesbury Borough Council has adopted a charter committing to work with the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) to help raise awareness with its staff and its partners in order to better support those living with the disease within the borough.
