Notifies us as to when an individual is leaving the Council, the reasons why and the date it will be effective from.  The details inform the relevant personnel and payroll.

  • Immediate Line Management
  • Payroll
  • Human Resources

Is any information transferred to or stored on servers based outside the European Economic Area?


How long do we keep your information?

We keep information about you for a maximum period of 6 years after termination of employment.

What are the consequences if we do not collect the data?

We would be unable to process termination of employment details for the individual and payroll purposes. There are statutory and legal obligations.
