These are exciting times as Tewkesbury Borough Council prepares to open a brand new business Growth Hub this June. It will be the only Growth Hub in a council office in the UK.
Based within the brand new inspirational hub, in this new role as a Navigator you will be the first point of contact with local businesses helping them to grow. Working with the Growth and Enterprise Manager, you will help direct local businesses to appropriate sources of advice and support.
Growth Hubs are part of a national programme overseen by the government’s Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. The Gloucestershire Growth Hub Network is expanding to provide business support service to a wider range of Gloucestershire businesses. As part of this expansion, funding has been secured to build and run a Growth Hub within Tewkesbury Borough Council’s Public Service Centre. The Tewkesbury Growth Hub is a collaboration between Tewkesbury Borough Council and GFirst Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP).
You do not need to have business experience, but you do need to relish working with people and have excellent customer service skills. You will have a key role in building relationships with the local business community. As well as meeting businesses, your role will vary from organising business events, to marketing and promotion, to working with the other Growth Hubs across the county. We can offer flexible working opportunities including flexible hours, part-time and job share.
Tewkesbury Borough is the fasting growing part of Gloucestershire – do you want to be part of this success story?
