Grade D (£19,446 - £21,693)
As a first line support officer you will be responsible for providing a first-class ICT support service within the council. Ensuring that colleagues who use computing and communications systems receive a timely and quality support service and are consistently dealt with in a customer focused manner.
This is a key role within a small and dynamic support team and is vital in helping support the council’s services and plans for the future.
Ideally you will have experience working in a busy corporate ICT department, providing technical support to Microsoft desktops and servers. A basic technical knowledge of industry standard PC based packages (MS Windows 10, MS Office and Office 365), and experience of working with external suppliers to resolve technical problems is also essential.
We can offer flexible working opportunities including flexible hours, part-time, job share and home-working.
For an informal discussion please contact Iain Stark, ICT Operations Manager, on 01684 272158.
