Waste and recycling

  • Q - What do I do with the sticker licence when it arrives?
A - It should be stuck on your brown bin as soon as it arrives, if it’s not on your bin, your bin will not be emptied. Here is some advice on affixing your sticker licence:

    • The sticker licence needs to be stuck on the top of the lid of your brown garden waste bin, anywhere else and crew may not see it and your bin will not be emptied.

    • Make sure the area where you are to affix your sticker licence is clean and clear of debris.

    • Once stuck, don’t try and peel it off. The licence adheres really strongly but needs to be left alone to get the best result.

  • Q - What if I lose my sticker licence, it does not arrive as expected or the details on it are incorrect?
A - Please call our customer service team as they will be able to assist. Tel: 01684 295010

  • Q - Can I put out excess waste with my Green bin?
A - Ubico do not take excess waste with your Green bin, but you can get extra blue bags from our area offices or Customer Services on 01684 295010 who will post them if you are unable to collect.

  • Q - Do you collect carpets, furniture, mattresses, sofas, televisions, cookers, fridges, freezers, tumble dryers, washing machines and other large and/or heavy items?
A - Please visit our bulky item collection page.

  • Q - How do I check the status of my bin collection service in bad/poor weather?

  • Q - How do I contact / can you put me through to the Depot?
