Planning Committee prepares for high public interest

Two high profile planning applications will be going to Tewkesbury Borough Council's Planning Committee on Tuesday, 2 February.

National Grid's proposed Gas Pressure Reduction Installation at Tirley application and an outline application for residential development at Land Adjacent Brizen Farm, Shurdington application will be on the agenda.

As public interest is expected to be high, entry to the Planning Committee will be by ticket only – and on a first come first served basis.

The Council is able to accommodate 32 members of the public in the public gallery to observe and hear the proceedings of the Committee.

To ensure as many members of the public are able to attend as possible, a further 72 seats will be available in Committee Room 1 - where it will be possible to hear the proceedings of the Committee.

The Brizen Farm application will be hard as a special item in the morning and the Tirley application will be heard as a special item in the afternoon – the agenda for the committee is attached to this email.

Tickets for the morning session (Brizen Farm) of the Committee will be available from 8:30am and tickets for the afternoon session (Tirley Gas Plant) will be available from 1:30pm.

Tickets will be available from Tewkesbury Borough Council's reception area.
