This website currently meets around 99% conformance to level Triple-A of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0, including all Priority 1, Priority 2, and Priority 3 checkpoints defined in the Guidelines :-

Resizable Text

If you have a visual impairment, the main text on every page is scalable so can be enlarged. Please follow the relevant instructions below for your browser.

Internet Explorer users

Select View in the browser menu, then select Text Size, followed by Larger or Largest.

Netscape 7.0 users

Select View in the browser menu, then select Text Zoom.

Netscape 6.0 users

Select View in the browser menu, then select Zoom.

Opera users

Select View in the browser menu, then select Text Size.

Firefox users

Select View in the browser menu, then select Text Size > Increase++.

Note: To use these keys

For the Windows-based platform: if the browser is

  • Netscape/Mozilla etc, hold down the 'Alt' key and press the assigned key on the keyboard. 
  • Internet Explorer, do the same as for Netscape, but also press the 'enter' key to navigate to a page.

For the Macintosh platform, hold down the left-hand 'Control' and press the assigned key on the keyboard. (eg. Control-1 navigates to the home page.)


Colour Blindness and Clarity

The website content text is black and appears against a white background, for maximum legibility.

The website has been tested on http://www.vischeck.com for checking it appears legible to colour blind users.


Speech Enabled - Browsealoud

This web site is speech enabled on demand using a free software application that you can download called Browsealoud. Browsealoud is a Windows application designed for use with most web browsers. This improvement will assist those with reading difficulties, literacy problems, mild vision difficulties and where English is not their first language.

Simply by scrolling your mouse over the text that you want read to you, Browsealoud will highlight, read and speak what you require, helping you navigate enabled websites more easily.
